Met in New York
Like all modern Manhattan love stories, Neha & Prashant met on Hinge. They had their first date at the Arlo Rooftop in Soho, where they had a blast, all the way up until the bar closed. The date went so well that their waiter brought them complimentary glasses of champagne because he thought they were celebrating their anniversary (true story).
Moved to Los Angeles
They kept finding themselves in Los Angeles at every free moment, so they finally decided to pursue their lifelong, shared dream - to build a life out west! The lifestyle shift was real; Neha started actually going to the gym (gasp) and cooking her own meals (double gasp). Prashant played tennis every day for two months and got weirdly good. Like US Open, maybe 90th seed- level good. Neha still beats him, though.
Engaged in Maui
With all the vitamin D in California, Neha found herself listening to a lot of old, Polynesian music and slowly morphing into Jimmy Buffet. Prashant noticed and decided “I’m going to take this girl to Hawaii and marry her!” He flew her to Maui and proposed to her while she was riding an extreme high after having just nailed her first surf lesson. She obviously said yes!
Live in San Francisco
Fate pulled them to San Francisco, where they currently live in a beautiful high-rise overlooking the city. Neha encourages Prashant to always focus on doing what he loves, and Prashant encourages Neha to always shoot for the moon for herself. They spend essentially all of their free time outside and are as a result unusually perpetually tan, much like a cruise director or an obstinate summer camp counselor.
